Shared Visions regional forums The 2010 Shared Visions regional forums are your opportunity to provide face-to-face feedback on the draft 10-Year Plan for Supporting Queenslanders with a Disability.
Through the Shared Visions conferencing program to date we have heard the voices of a broad range of Queenslanders with a disability and those who advocate for them.
Taking into account the contribution of many Queenslanders involved in developing the Blue Skies Scenario and advancing the United Nations' Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, we have developed the draft 10-Year Plan to deliver our shared vision of creating more inclusive communities.
The 2010 Shared Visions regional forums provide an opportunity for government and the community to work collaboratively for a more inclusive future for people with a disability, their families and carers.
The forums are also an opportunity to hear more about Building bright futures: an action plan for children with a disability from birth to eight years and what we hope to achieve over the next four years.
People with a disability, their families and carers as well as service providers, government and corporate partners, disability advocates and interested members of the community are encouraged to attend.
